Nostalgia Knights and the POW-MIA Awareness Motorcycle Toy Run

Toy Run

Bringing some Christmas cheer early to the children of St. John of God Community Services, both the Nostalgia Knights and a number of local motorcycle clubs arrived on campus, last December, with Christmas toys in hand.

More than 100 motorcycles arrived on campus for the POW-MIA Awareness Motorcycle Club’s 12th Annual Toy Run. After making a thunderous entrance into the agency’s parking lot, each motorcycle club member made their way, delivering their Christmas gifts to either a child or adult with disabilities.

Following the motorcycle clubs, local car aficionados, The Nostalgia Knights Classic Car Club also visited the St. John of God Community Services campus with a trailer full of toys for the children. As the members of the Nostalgia Knights unloaded the toys, they soon lined the agency’s entire main lobby. With glee in their eyes, the children and students of St. John of God Community Services were able to choose and take home a new toy for the holidays.
